Getting product details...

From Dear Green Coffee Roasters:

This estate coffee has excellent cup characteristics with notes of cashew, lime and cacao nibs.

This microlot comes from Elmer Lima’s coffee farm, Finca El Potrerito, which lies on the slopes of the Acatenango volcano in the Chimaltenango department of Guatemala.

El Potrerito lies at 1400 meters above sea level. The region has rich volcanic soil with good drainage characteristics. 90% of his farm has shade trees to help the coffee grow in a cultivation system that is a less taxing on the environment. Shade trees mean less stress for the coffee trees, less groundwater depletion and a rich topsoil to feed the plants.

This is a 100% washed Bourbon coffee and was harvested in December, during the peak of the harvest at El Potrerito.
