Rounton Coffee Roasters: Peru, Jaen Cooperative Members, Natural

This lot is made up from 4 producers who all started to produce natural coffees as part of the Falcon Coffees operation in Northern Peru. The lot is a blend of the small bits of coffee left over that couldn't make a full bag but together still provide a beautiful coffee - a shame not to export. Falcon Peru chose these producers for their open attitudes to learning but also identified that these producers come from an area with the best climate for the process.

There are some great things going on in Peru at the moment. We work with importers who are setting up a revolutionary supply chain model, with Peru as the breeding ground. The plan for this 'Blueprint Project' is to enable each stage of the supply chain to be logged, so that coffee can be traded with absolute transparency. It's great to know that not only can we enjoy this delightful coffee, but we can be a part of something so groundbreaking.
