This is really tasty coffee. Well suited to either espresso or filter brewing. In a flat white, it’s like drinking liquid Maltesers!
The Ventura family have been growing coffee on this farm since 1894. The principals underpinning their approach to growing coffee have not changed since this time. This bean hits the nose with almonds and butterscotch. Lovely comforting brandy snap notes dominate along with praline and raw honey. These heady flavours are perfectly balanced with a white grape acidity that finishes it off beautifully.

For espresso, we’re currently running 18.5g into 38g in 32 seconds. That’s using 18g VST baskets. In V60, an 11.5g dose with 200g water in 2:20. TDS 1.41%, extraction yield 21.34%.
