From Artisan Roast:
This micro-lot is made of pickings from across the farm focusing on the red caturra variety rather than a specific section of coffee trees. It is a delicious, straightforward caramel and chocolate driven warming cup of coffee roasted a little fuller to focus on the sugar browning aspects of it's flavour profile. After the initial milk chocolate flavours there are sweet toasty and caramel like aromas followed by an amaretti biscuit like finish. The mouthfeel is smooth, dense and creamy and the acidity is citrus like, medium to low in intensity and lingers long on the finish.
