CO2 decaffeination is one of just a few natural, chemical free decaf methods.

Santa Lucia is a large estate farm located in the Minas Gerais region of Brazil. It is one of the largest farms in Brazil covering 5300 hectares of which 3000 is preserved as natural forest.

They focus on traceability of lots and seperation of varietals in order to process speciality grade coffee. They use machine harvesting and many stages of seperation to ensure that the ripe and unripe cherries are correctly sorted.

This particular varietal is Red Catuai processed using the natural method. The farm is Rainforest Alliance certified.
