The key to this blend is balance. A lovely well rounded cup with great body, bright tangerine sweetness and a hint of ginger & almond on the finish.
From Andrew, Head of coffee at Clifton:

"Taken from the idea of a sound equaliser on an old amplifier – the key to this blend is balance. A lovely well rounded cup with great body, bright tangerine sweetness and a hint of ginger & almond on the finish.

Our sixth version of our seasonal Espresso Blend, roasted to order in house from selected seasonal crops according to availability at the time of year.

We rotate the components of this blend 3-4 times per year & we’re proud to bring you this rendition for autumn/winter to show the latest crops.

Taking a turn away from previous versions of ‘EQ’ that have been built on 3 coffees, for v.6 we switch to twn beans of the same varietal. The super sweet Red Bourbon – arguably the sweetest of all.

- 60% Gisuma (washed), Rusizzi District, Rwanda
- 40% Finca La Esperanza (washed), Huehuetenango, Guatemala

We recommend using a brew recipe of 18g dry grounds > 25-26 second extraction > 33-35g liquid yield."
Great for: Espresso, Milky, With milk
Tasting Notes: As an espresso, sweet tangerine fruit, bright & clean acidity, a nice rounded mouthfeel that finishes with notes of ginger, almond & allspice.
