Location & Farmer - This coffee is grown at 1600 masl on the Muhura Estate in the Gatsibo district in the Eastern province of Rwanda, which was established in 2010 by a local investment company. They joined forces with the Rwanda trading company in 2011 in order to improve production and quality
The Processing - Harvested cherries are sorted by removing under-ripe cherries, then spread over raised beds and allowed to dry for around 30 days. On average it takes 7kg of fresh cherries to produce 1kg of high-quality green coffee.
