From Nino @ Casa Espresso:

A unique cup, and such a rare process from Rwanda. Expect bright and sweet notes, reminiscent of skittles and a huge, creamy mouthfeel that lingers. Underlying tones of stewed fruits and a gentle booziness.

Location & Farmer - This coffee is grown at 1600 masl on the Muhura Estate in the Gatsibo district in the Eastern province of Rwanda, which was established in 2010 by a local investment company. They joined forces with the Rwanda trading company in 2011 in order to improve production and quality

The Processing - Harvested cherries are sorted by removing under-ripe cherries, then spread over raised beds and allowed to dry for around 30 days. On average it takes 7kg of fresh cherries to produce 1kg of high-quality green coffee.
