Our origin reserve taster pack is a selection of 4 unique coffees from Artisan Roast that represents how processing and terroir combine to create diverse flavours.

The current selection is:

GUATEMALA / SAN AGUSTIN

San Agustin sits on one of these steep volcanic slopes to the east of Antigua and has an unusually cool micro-climate for Antigua because it sits mostly north facing. This means with a little less sun the coffee ripens a little slower and sugars develop over a little more time. This certainly seems to benefit the coffee and the farm has already collected two Cup of Excellence awards in the last decade since the highly regarded farmer Ricardo Zeyela took over the once abandoned farm.

ETHIOPIA / MOGES MENGESHA

A small farm, single producer selection from the deep south of Yirgacheffe. This washed process coffee is bursting with notes of zesty bergamot, sweet white peach and perfumed florals.

COSTA RICA / LA PERLA DEL CAFE CERRO ALTA

This Villa Sarchi is crammed full of this sweetness and a dense caramel like sweetness is a primary feature of the taste and flavour profile in the cup. Depending on the brew method there are then slight variations in the fruit like flavours present. Brewed as a filter the flavours are more towards dried apricot, some green apple and a medium intensity zesty mandarin acidity. Moving towards aeropress and espresso some subtle hints of vanilla and red berries become noticeable as well.

COBBLESTONE 2.7

Two delicious Latin coffees combine in this seasonal espresso blend inspired by the cobbled streets of rural Latin America. Medium bodied, laden with caramel sweetness, berry fruit flavours and a roasted almond finish.

Roasting and delivery information

We roast every Monday and Wednesday (roasting days). Our cut off for planning orders for roasting is 12 pm on a roasting date. If an order is received after this cut off it will be prioritised on the next roasting day. Most items will be dispatched the next day (Tuesday and Thursday) We send the coffee by Royal Mail 1st Class post, which aims to deliver within 1 working day. For International delivery to Europe we use the Royal Mail International Standard service. This has a delivery aim of 5-10 days. For International delivery to World Zone 1 & 2 countries we use the Royal Mail International Tracked & Signed service. This has a delivery aim of 5-10 days.
