Rich chocolate, cherry liquor, stone fruits and raisin.
Recanto is a farm located in the Minas Gerais region of Brazil and is owned by Marcos Miaki. The average altitude of the farm is 1250 masl and this particular lot comes from the Mundo Novo tree varietal.

This year we have two outstanding lots from this area of Brazil (The other is the Serra Negra) and both have been sourced for us by our friends at De Luca coffee. They are a small business that specializes in importing outstanding coffee from Brazil from their friends farms. Both lots are exclusive to us in Europe.

The best coffees from Brazil are know for their nutty, full body character. This one surprised us when we first tried it. It's very different and offers so much more complexity and a taste profile that is more fruity driven than most coffees from Brazil. We are really excited to have two coffees from the same area of Brazil that offer very different tastes.
