Getting product details...

There are big fruit flavours here, cranberries and redcurrants. The coffee is both juicy and creamy and the fruits are perfectly balanced with a delicate, exotic lychee acidity.
The co-op that produces this coffee has around 1300 active members, with each one having around one acre of land. Members pick their coffee and then take it to the Gathongo factory for processing. This coffee has been purchased directly from members of the co-op, rather than through Kenya’s auction system which means a better price for the farmer.

The beans themselves taste fantastic. Kenyans are always really exciting and this one is particularly good. The coffee is so clean and well defined, making it perfectly suited to both filter and espresso brewing methods. In fact, this is the first Kenyan that we feel we can endorse as single origin espresso.

At the moment, we are doing 18.5g into 38g in around 32 seconds. That’s using the Adonis, Compak E10 Master and 18g VST baskets.
