Getting product details...

From Horsham Coffee Roaster:

Ideal for: Filter, cafetiere, aeropress and espresso (best in small milky drinks or as a short americano). Sweet, juicy fruits and soft caramel sweetness.

This blend is a medium/light roast allowing the full flavour of these excellent lots to shine through. The primary characteristics we aim for are rich fruit and caramel sweetness. It's likely to change regularly as we replace components with other seasonal coffees. You can always expect something exciting and just a little bit different with this blend.

Brewing: This coffee works well with all filter brewers and espresso. For filter we recommend a 1 - 16 brew ratio, and for espresso a 1 - 2.25 brew ratio.

Example: Filter: 15g - 250ml // Espresso: 18g - 40.5ml

Current ingredients:

Rocko Mountain, Ethiopia 50%

Varietal: Heirloom
Processing: Natural
Altitude: 1950 - 2150 masl
Fans of naturally processed coffee know that the naturals produced from this area of Ethiopia are widely regarded as some of the best in the world. The Rocko Mountain cherries are dried on raised beds for 15 days before being milled in the city of Yirgachefe. This coffee is overwhelmingly sweet and packed full of summer and stone fruit flavours.

Rancho Allegre, Nicaragua 50%

Varietal: Caturra
Processing: Washed
Altitude: 1280 - 1400 masl
The farm is owned by Victor Robelo and covers an area of about 21 hectares planted with Caturra trees. Victor owns several farms and specialises in produced very high quality washed coffees along with experimental natural and honey processed lots. Coffee is hand harvested from January to April and processed on site using the traditional washed method. Ripe cherry is delivered and the fruit is removed on the same day using a pulping machine. After the fruit is removed the coffee is fermented followed by washing and grading. The most dense coffee will sink and is separated from the lighter, inferior beans. After washing the coffee is dried on concrete patios.

The blend is subject to change at anytime.
