Getting product details...

Giant Maragogype beans. Big, sweet, and juicy punch, a fresh and complex profile that is finished with praline.

Roaster’s tip: A rare and special coffee to us, we could only get one sack of this coffee. Made through an aeropress with 16g of coarse coffee, 200ml of water, and a slow press down brings out the fresh plummyness and clarity of this coffee.

From Ocotal in central Nicaragua. Maragogype is a mutation of the bourbon variety which results in extremely large beans. As a result of careful selection and picking, these produce very sweet, fulsome flavours when light roasted with a delightful round body and praline notes. An unexpected delight as espresso but best enjoyed, in our opinion, as an aeropress.

Great for: Aeropress, Filter, With milk
Origin: Central America/Nicaragua - Ocotal - central region
