Daterra was born out of the vision of one man to create excellence. Excellence in environmental and economic sustainability and above all else, excellence in quality. This vision has become a reality and in 2016 this 6800-hectare estate was named the most sustainable farm in Brazil (not just in the coffee sector either)

These farms in the city of Patrocínio are the oldest coffee plantations in Brazilian Cerrado region, and it is amongst the best coffee producing areas in the country. Wind, sun and soil are exceptional for Arabica trees. The diverse altitudes and microclimates create conditions that will later surprise the palate with a large range of flavors from velvet-chocolaty to bright-flowery profiles.

Roasting and delivery information

We roast 5 days a week on our Diedrich IR-12 & CR-25. We roast and rest our EQ & E1 espressos only to a maximum of 10 days so these coffees will arrive ready to use. All other single origins are roasted to order on the next available roast day & sent out within 24 hours.

We recommend a minimum of 10 days rest past roast day on all our espressos and a minimum of 2-5 days rest on all filter coffees.

TO ENSURE SAME DAY ROASTING, ALL ORDERS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 10am. ANY ORDERS RECEIVED AFTER 10am WILL BE ROASTED THE FOLLOWING ROAST DAY.
