A selection of the best Arabica and Robusta beans for espresso. What gives this coffee a nice round body and a nutty flavour is the Kaapi Royale blended with the sweetest Plantation Maysore arabica beans. Kaapi Royale is known as the king of speciality Indian 'kaapis', prepared with the best quality bold Robusta beans.

The Arabica beans come from Coorg, Chikmagalur and Wayanaad, India. In the former two areas both Arabica and Robustas flourish under a two-tier mixed shade and the later region is renowned by its wildlife and exotic flora. Wayanaad is India's largest Robusta coffee producing region and home to the Indian tiger, also India's national animal - a symbol of valour and courage.

In India, coffee for espresso is evaluated by the colour and patterns seen on the drink. A perfect espresso should have a pattern similar to the tiger stripes. Therfore its name not only reflects perfection but also India's flavours.
