A traditional, dark-roasted, full-bodied coffee - not for the faint hearted! An antidote (if you need it) to those bright & elegant coffees that you may have overdosed on. Ideal for espresso, aeropress, mokapot or any other method if ground appropriately - it also makes an excellent base for your own blending experiments.

This is an aged coffee, around 2 years old, giving it a distinctive and powerful flavour. Originally, traders held the coffee as an alternative to cash, as its value was seen as being more stable than the local currency, often being kept for years and giving rise to the aging element of its processing.
