"Jungle Estate coffee is a high grown top quality coffee from the slopes of the central highlands, heartland of coffee growing in Kenya, more commonly referred to as Nyeri. Most coffee in Kenya is grown and harvested by small hold farmers but there are some large private estates such as this one. It covers an area of 315 hectares with just over 90,000 coffee trees. The annual production of the farm is around 1,500 Bags of main grade AA / AB each year, split roughly 50:50.

The farm is located about 4 km from Nyeri town along the Nyeri-Kiganjo road Northeast of Nyeri town in Nyeri District, and North of the capital Nairobi. It is sandwiched between Mt. Kenya to the North East and the Aberdare Ranges to the West. Jungle Estate employs over 150 people supporting over 10,000 people indirectly. The people in the neighbourhood enjoy social amenities and financial gain from the estate and rely on it for a source of income.

We selected this coffee based on its excellent body, balance and well rounded fruit profile. It has lots of classic blackcurrant flavours with sweet caramel and citrus notes."
