Notes of sweet caramel with juicy red grape and well balanced acidity.
The Huehuetenango region of Guatemala is the highest coffee growing region in the country and benefits from an ample water supply making it relatively easy for farmers to operate their own coffee washing stations. It has become famous for producing some of the best washed coffees available in central america.

It's been quite some time since our last great Guatemala and it is long overdue! The best offerings from the country are know for their well balanced acidity and easy drinking nature. This particular coffee comes from the from a medium size private farm owned and operated by Leonardo Rene Perez Hidalgo. The farm is called La Reforma and this particular speciality lot from that farm was given the name El Eden. He grows his coffee under native shade trees and works the farm with the help of his mother and sisters.
