Getting product details...

From Lee @ Foundry Coffee Roasters:

It's that time of year when we are seeing a lot of wild African coffees landing in the UK so it's so good to find something that sits at the other end of the speciality coffee spectrum.

You can expect a wonderfully indulgent cup. This coffee is just full of milk chocolate notes and just a tiny hint of red fruits lingering in the background. This is real comfort coffee, for when you just want that slightly more solid brew. Stronger filter brews with huge body are particularly rewarding and it's great as espresso with milk - a firm favourite 'comfort' offering in our cafe already. This coffee is just perfect for a rainy Tuesday afternoon and it's easy to work with too.

This lot comes from a single farm which also provides meals and schooling for the children of the 300 workers employed on the farm.

In espresso, we were pulling 30g from a 15g dose in around 38 seconds (including a six second pre-infusion on the spring lever). We were using a 15g VST basket and conical burrs.
