Sidamo covers a large area in Southern Ethiopia, spanning fertile highlands made up of over 20 different noticeable areas, each with varying microclimates and altitudes. Such diverse locations makes for a variety of grading and cup profiles that result in being labelled as Sidamo.

This particular lot is made up of the Heirloom varietal, grown at up to 2,000 masl by various smallholder farmers. The bean has been fully washed and dried on raised beds before undergoing the CR3 developed and patented, Natural Liquid Carbon Dioxide Coffee Decaffeination Process. In the cup expect this exceptional decaffeinated bean to produce a smooth body with vanilla and cocoa notes and the richness of brown sugar.
