From Clifton Coffee Roasters:

A special lot produced for us by Marcus Aurelio Ricetto of Sitio Sao Sebastiao. This separation is a day pick of red catuai which matures slowly in the shade of eucalyptus trees.

Dense stewed fruit notes define this cup. Highly sweet and with a very syrupy body.

With the help of his brothers, who are also in coffee, Marcus sees an annual production of around 500 bags.

Coffee is picked and taken to dry on patios on the same day where it drys naturally in the sun. The coffee is then rested in wooden boxes called “Tulhas” before the parchment is cut ready for its final preparation.

Apart from the continued desire to improve the quality of his coffee Marcus’s focus is on reducing the amount of fertiliser used on the farm. An agronomist visits the farm once a month to test the soil to ensure they are only used where absolutely necessary.

From Clifton Coffee Roasters: As the largest producer in the world, Brazil has a long history with coffee. From Clifton Coffee Roasters: The consistently outstanding coffee coming out of Sable Farms is the result of a foundational belief: invest in the farming practices that support the farm.
