The Coffee Officina was founded in 2013 by Marcella Fiori and Rory Lloyd.

“We were both working and living in London when we decided to take up this new adventure and start our own business. We wanted to merge our 2 passions, coffee and design, in one concept.

The Coffee Officina is a small workshop and a laboratory where we experiment and find the best coffee to roast, brew and supply.

Our process starts with researching and choosing a particular coffee. Then, adjusting our roast profile to the type of coffee we are able to bring out all the flavours and aromas that are typical of each varietal, processing method and origin. Then we brew and taste the coffee until we are satisfied.

We believe that high quality coffee and well considered design can work together to deliver a great product through sensory experimentation and visual impact.

Our ambition is to inspire and educate people with coffee and make the process more transparent.

Our products are influenced by our travels, cultural backgrounds, passionate people, diverse styles and flavours.

We love what we do and we want to share it with everybody. Drinking coffee should always be a new experience and not just a commodity.”

When do we roast your coffee?

We normally roast on a Tuesday and send out coffee Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Orders received before 12pm, will be sent out the same day. Otherwise it will be sent the day after.

Delivery Method

We send out any orders that weigh below 2kg with Royal mail. Anything above that will be sent with a courier
