From Horsham Coffee Roaster:

Out latest Honduras organic coffee comes from a group of farmers located in the small village of La Torera in the La Union area of Copan. The altitude in the area ranges from 1500 to 1600masl and the main varieties grown are catuai, parainema, IHCAFE 90 and lempira. Growing conditions in this region are ideal for coffee with warm sunny days and cool but stable night time temperatures.

Coffee was hand harvested by small hold producers each with between 3 and 5 hectares of land. They deliver their harvest to the local washing station for processing and are paid for the coffee cherry that they contribute the creation of larger community lots.

This is a coffee with great balance making it perfect for espresso and also for filter coffee drinkers who like a balanced, medium acidity coffee with good body and the ability to hold up well in milk based drinks.
