Getting product details...

From Weanie Beans:

Built in 1971, Kapsokisio washing station is located on the slopes of Mount Elgon, an extinct shield volcano with mineral rich soil.

The washing station processes coffees from around 800 small producers, and carefully sorts and selects the best coffees. The cherries are soaked for 48 hours and de-pulped, during which time the water is changed at regular intervals to ensure a perfectly clean coffee. The coffee beans are then air dried on shaded, raised beds for over 2 weeks.
