From Horsham Coffee Roaster:

Tasting notes: Almond, Fudge, Chocolate

Brewing: This coffee works well with all filter brewers and espresso. For filter we recommend a 1 - 15 brew ratio, and for espresso a 1 - 2 brew ratio.
Example: Filter: 17g - 250ml // Espresso: 18g - 36ml

Brazil is the worlds largest coffee producer and in 2014 the total production was around 2.7 million tons. To put this into perspective, Ethiopia, the largest producer in Africa produced about 400000 tons in the same year.

A large amount of the coffee produced in Brazil is low grade arabica or robusta. However, many farms focus on quality and Brazil exports a massive range of different flavour profiles. Most coffee is processed using the natural or pulped natural method resulting in nutty, chocolate flavours that many coffee drinkers love. We try to make sure that we have a really good Brazil available year round. This can be challenging as Brazil has one single harvest per year. We've managed to find an outstanding Brazil to keep us going until the new harvest arrives.

This classic coffee from Brazil comes from Daterra farms and is Rainforest Alliance certified. They are one of the most well respected producers of coffee in the Cerrado region of Brazil. The large estate is split into 216 mini farms of between 5 and 15 hectares in size. This allows them to produce many different varietals and to experiement with many different processes. We've chose this traditional natural processed coffee for its classic Brazil profile. It's nutty and rich with a wonderful milk chocolate body. Some fudge like sweetness and gentle fruit notes make it superb as espresso or as a delicious filter.
