CAFÉ ANEI are an organisation of 700 producers from families belonging to 4 indigenous tribes; Arhuacos, Koguis, Kankuamos & Wiwas, located near Valledupar. The Yerwa are an indigenous community who form part of the Arhuacos tribe who settled in the Cesar region of North Eastern Colombia. In partnership with Café ANEI and the Colombian Government we are supporting the planting of 2 hectares of coffee each and 150 plantain shade trees for 91 women of the Yerwa Community. CAFÉ ANEI have a strategic plan for the development of the indigenous culture in Colombia based in three fundamental aspects: social, environmental and cultural.
