From Casa Espresso:
This stunning Brazil is produced by Antonio Bento Da Silva, he acquired the land in 2000 and in 2001 the farming began. After acquiring the farm, he started producing 10 thousand coffee plants, but due to him not living on the farm, quality wasn’t consistent. Once Antonio retired, he spent more time on the farm and checking quality. He started to watch it closely, raising productivity with some help from Minasul agronomists. Due to incentives, he started participating in contests and was able to rank among the 20 best coffees of the state of Minas Gerais.
Located south of Minas Gerais in Alto Do Pitangui. Antonio grows Red Catuai and Yellow Catucai varietals at 1200 – 1250 masl and dry processes the ripe cherries by hand (Natural).
