Getting product details...

This bold Brazilian coffee from the Minais Gerais state is crammed full of chocolate notes and rich caramel sweetness followed with a syrupy raisin acidity. Some red, but mainly yellow cherries, are grown here on steep slopes, high above sea level . The challenging landscape makes picking by hand, rather than utilising ubiquitous mechanisation, the prevalent mode of harvest by the 7,800 smallholder producers in the area. Once this coffee has been reaped it’s processed through to dry milling on the same farm and then, after being brought to the Cocarive warehouse just outside São Lourenço, is rigorously cupped under the guidance of ex-Brazilian cupping champion Wellington Pereira. A treat for even the most discerning tastebuds.
