From Horsham Coffee:

Finca La Colombia is owned and operated by a father and son team who bought the farm in 2016. They specialise in producing high quality, varietal separated microlots using a variety of different processing methods. We first tried their coffee when Coffee Quest sent us some pre-shipment samples just as the harvest was coming to an end in El Salvador. This particular coffee really stood out on the cupping table and is one of the most distinctive and refined natural processed coffees that we've received this year.

The Pacamara varietal is grown in some parts of central america and produces very large beans. It is know to produce very high quality fruit but is unfortunately very susceptible to coffee leaf rust making it a challenging and fairly risky coffee for farms to grown. Those that do grow this varietal successfully are often rewarded with outstanding coffees.

The lot we have chosen has been processed using the natural method and this has captured all of the incredible fruit flavours from the cherry. You can expect super fruity notes of strawberry, blueberry and a wide variety of those berry and tropical flavours. Stunning both as espresso and filter.

Brewing

This coffee works well with all filter brewers and espresso. For filter we recommend a 1 - 16 brew ratio, and for espresso a 1 - 2.5 brew ratio.

Example: Filter: 15g - 250ml // Espresso: 18g - 45ml
